John Simons
Broker Associate / Business Intermediary
John has been involved in the ownership and management of both small and large-scale businesses throughout my career. He grew up in a family business in the Midwest, and was a District Manager and Regional Administrator for Miller Brewing Company in Montana and Colorado. His responsibilities included: advertising, pricing, employee training, legislative activity, and operations management.
John was also a former owner of the Miller franchise in Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, and Pueblo. Including that venture, he has over 15 years of experience in all aspects of sales, marketing, and operations.
Prior to joining Peak Business Brokers, he owned a small Nextel Cellular Indirect dealership for two plus years. John was a business broker for another regional business brokerage company in 2001 and 2002 participating in the sale and acquisition of several businesses. John also had a four-year affiliation in sales and marketing with RBM Precision Metal Manufacturing, Inc., a manufacturer of computer peripherals in the data storage industry. A list of his accounts included IBM, Dell, Silicon Graphics, and Siemens-Rolm.
John has a degree in Marketing and Management from St. Cloud State University and has been involved in numerous community activities and fundraisers.
